SPORT, FAMILY, WORK… can you combine the 3 things? The answer is Yes. It’s not easy, the life we lead requires us to fulfil 1000 obligations… work, taking the children to school, extracurriculars, shopping, cleaning, and a long etc… it puts us under a high level of stress. But we have to be able to find time for ourselves, to be able to disconnect and achieve the feeling of well-being. Physical activity is the answer!
In my case, having a physical job that requires long hours, two small children… many times I struggle to find time to do what I like, which is mainly trail and mountain biking… but I still can manage!
Sport frees me from stress, from a bad day, from worries… it generates a well-being sensation, happiness… I feel strong, motivated. That’s why even when I am up to my eyeballs with work, rushing to get everywhere, just thinking about what physical activity brings to me… I pull myself together and go out.
I encourage you to find that time for you and with some effort and perseverance you will get there, and you will soon achieve great improvement, both physically and mentally, because sport reduces stress, releases tension, strengthens muscles and bones, prevents cardiovascular diseases… Strong body and mind!
Cheer up, don’t limit yourself and avoid excuses. We all can!
